Temporary Closure of Church Road, Pimperne
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Church Road, Pimperne between the junctions of Newfield Road To Church Road and St Peters Close (in both directions), a distance of approximately 100 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 08 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months. however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 22 April 2022.
This Order will enable Hi Acre Construction, safe access to connect a new foul manhole to an existing sewer line.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using: Church Road - Anvil Road - A354
- A350 - Higher Shaftesbury Road - Bushes Road.

Temporary Traffic Management Order of A354 Portland Road
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 11 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 18 April 2022.
This Order will enable Velocity on behalf of Dorset Council to carry out Highway Asphalt Preservation works.
The effect of this notice is as follows;
[1] To impose a temporary road closure on A354 Portland Road from its junction with Foords roundabout to its junction with Dumbarton Road between 00:00hrs and 06:00hrs.
[2] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along A354 Portland Road between its junction with Foords Corner and its junction with Dumbarton Road between 00:00hrs and 06:00hrs. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
[3] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along A354 Portland Road between its junction with Dumbarton Road and Ferrybridge roundabout between 19:00hrs and 06:00hrs. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections, however these routes will not be suitable for HGV's, assistance will be available on site.

Temporary Closure of Public Footpath S33/12 & S33/13, Osmington
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along Various Footpaths in Osmington as listed; [i] Public footpath S33/13 from grid reference SY 7354 8174 to grid reference SY 7338 8175 a distance of approximately 90 metres; [ii] Public footpath S33/12 from grid reference SY 7354 8174 to grid reference SY 7354 8166 a distance of approximately 100 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.
It will come into operation on 30 March 2022 for a period of 26 weeks, but it is anticipated the order will be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, due to the safety implications following the landslip.
This closure is needed due to the path being unsafe due to land slip.

Temporary Closure of Oakhurst Road, West Moors
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Oakhurst Road, West Moors from the junctions of Pinehurst road and Shaftesbury Road (in both directions), a distance of approximately 150 metres The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 09 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 15 April 2022.
This Order will enable JDT Utilities agents for SGN to lay a new gas main and connect to newly laid PE.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using: Oakhurst Road - Oakhurst Lane

All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Pinehurst Road, West Moors from the junction of Beechwood in a North Westerly direction (in both directions), a distance of approximately 150 metres from this point. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 16 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 23 April 2022.
This Order will enable JDT Utilities agents for SGN to lay a new gas main and connect to newly laid PE.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using: Oakhurst Road - Oakhurst Lane - Heathfield Road.

Temporary Closure of West Bourton Road, Bourton
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along WEST BOURTON ROAD, BOURTON from the junction of Brickyard Lane in a southerly direction, a distance of approximately 340 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 11 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 27 May 2022.
This Order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to upgrade the existing 4" UPVC main as it is degrading, causing regular bursts and leakage.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using: West Bourton Road - B3081 -New Road.

Temporary Closure of B3091 Various Roads, West/East Orchard
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along GREEN LANE TO GUPPLES LANE, PARSONS LANE TO GREEN LANE, SHAFTESBURY ROAD TO PARSONS LANE AND VILLAGE ROAD, SHAFTESBURY ROAD (in both directions), a distance of approximately 3700 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on
1 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 29 April 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
[i] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along GREEN LANE TO GUPPLES LANE, PARSONS LANE TO GREEN LANE, SHAFTESBURY ROAD TO PARSONS LANE AND VILLAGE ROAD, SHAFTESBURY ROAD (in both directions), a distance of approximately 3700 metres.
[ii] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along B3091 and all roads listed above. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections: Ram's Hill - Red Lane - B3092 - Front Street - Fern Hill -Sherbourne Causeway - Cherry Orchard Lane - Cole's Lane. Temporary Closure of White Way, Litton Cheney
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along WHITE WAY, LITTON CHENEY between Malahide and a point approximately 460 metres to the north. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 11 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 29 April 2022.
This Order will enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution, safe access to excavate for new electricity supply to phone mast.
