HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 April 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD) ORDER 2022
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads, except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
a) that length of A41 North Western Avenue, Woodside from a point 260m north west of its junction with Rushton Avenue north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 960m.
An alternative route will be via A41 North Western Avenue, A412 St Albans Road, A411 Hempstead Road and A41 North Western Avenue or via A41 North Western Avenue, A411 (Hempstead Road/Hyde Road/The Avenue), A412 St Albans Road and A41 North Western Avenue.
b) that length of Water Lane, Watford from its junction with A411 Beechen Grove north eastwards to its junction with Bushey Hall Road, a distance of approximately 504m.
An alternative route will be via A411 Beechen Grove, Lower High Street, A411 (Lower High Street/Chalk Hill), B462 Aldenham Road and Bushey Hall Road or via Bushey Hall Road, B462 Aldenham Road, A4008 (Aldenham Road/Pinner Road), A411 (Lower High Street/Dalton Way/Waterfields Way/Beechen Grove) and Water Lane.
c) that length of Water Lane, Watford from its junction with A411 Beechen Grove south westwards to its junction with High Street, a distance of approximately 122m.
An alternative route will be via A411 (Beechen Grove/Waterfields Way/Lower High Street/ Dalton Way/Waterfields Way), Lower High Street and High Street.
d) the road fronting Nos.53-61 Water Lane, Watford from its junction with Water Lane north eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
e) the road situated on the east side of the 'River Colne', Watford from its junction with Water Lane north westwards for its entire length.

2. The existing prescribed left turn, except buses, taxis and pedal cycles Order which permits vehicles travelling north westwards in Lower High Street, Watford to only turn left onto A411 Exchange Road, will be temporarily suspended whilst works are in progress.
3. The existing prohibition of left turn movements from A411 Waterfields Way into Lower High Street, Watford will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicular traffic to make this manoeuvre whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because highway drainage works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 April 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD) ORDER NO.2 2022
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the Lower High Street southbound slip road leading onto A411 Exchange Road, Watford from its junction with the northbound carriageway of Lower High Street north westwards and south westwards to its junction with the southbound carriageway of A411 Exchange Road, a distance of approximately 58m.
An alternative route will be via Lower High Street and A411 Exchange Road.
2. The existing prescribed left turn, except buses, taxis and pedal cycles Order which permits vehicles travelling north westwards in Lower High Street, Watford to only turn left onto A411 Exchange Road, will be temporarily suspended whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed to enable a cherry picker to be positioned on the highway to access a telecoms mast near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 April 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
