(Footpath Nos 1 & 10, Cassop-Cum Quarrington Parish, Bowburn) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2018

The above-named Order made by the Council on 24/9/18, under section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and which became operational on 1/10/18 and subsequently extended to 1/4/22 has been continued in force from 1/4/22, as approved by the Secretary of State for Transport, until 1/10/23 or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier. The effect of the Order is to temporarily close to all pedestrian traffic 620 metres of Footpath Number 1 Cassop-cum-Quarrington Parish that extends generally westwards from its inception near Bowburn Services at A688; and also 940 metre of Footpath Number 10 that extends south westwards between its junctions with Edna Street, Bowburn and Footpath Number 1 described above, to enable Integra 61 development works to be undertaken. Alternative route will be available to pedestrian traffic via the network of rights of way in the Bowburn / Tursdale area.
