Cedarwood, Temporary Road & Footpath Closure

(Cedarwood, Briarwood, Finchale Avenue and Footpath No. 9 Woodstone Village) (Temporary Road & Footpath Closure) Order 2022
The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Road Closure 1. A 25 metre length from rear number 29 to side number 30 Finchale Terrace Footpath Closures 1.82 metre length of Public Footpath Number 9 Little Lumley Parish that extends between the sidenumber 1 to Briar Close to Finchale Terrace 2. An 83 metre length of footway/ footpath extending from the corner of 1 Briarwood and extending to the west/south of numbers 17-10-12 Cedarwood and southwards to the intersecting path from side number 13 3. An 85 metre length from the link path adjacent number 9 Cedarwood to the intersecting path leading to number 13 4. An 87 metre length of Cedarwood between numbers 5,2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 5. A 25 metre length between number 5 to 6 Cedarwood 6. A 25 metre length between numbers 5 to 9 Cedarwood 7. A 74 metre length from the link path outside number 5 Cedarwood to the western side of numbers la and 1 to Footpath number 9 to enable new telecom infrastructure works to be undertaken. Alternative routes will be available to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic during the closures via other local roads and footpaths in the area and will be signed on site where available. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence on 11/4/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 6 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
