Windy Hollows, Temporary HGV Restriction Order

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: B4221 from Windy Hollows to Revells Lane, Upton Bishop, Temporary HGV Restriction Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by HGVs on the B4221 from the junction of the B4224 for approximately 50m south. Grid Ref: 341622/226902. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A449 onto the B4224.

The said restriction is required due to insufficient road width for HGVs during private wall repair and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said restriction will come into force on 28th of March 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks (0800hrs-0430hrs).
