Winding up of Sony UK Pension Scheme
Notice ID: BOU2344340The Sony UK Pension Scheme (the Scheme) (formerly known as the Sony UK Pension and Life Assurance Scheme)
We are giving notice pursuant to section 27 of Trustee Act 1925, that the Scheme is being wound-up in accordance with its governing provisions. Information regarding the winding-up has already been sent by the Trustee to all known Scheme members and beneficiaries. If you have not received any such notice and believe that you are entitled to benefits from the Scheme, you should write to the Scheme Administrator at Sony UK Pension Scheme, PO Box 545, Redhill, RH1 1YX, or email sonyukpension@willistowerswatson.com to make a claim for benefits under the Scheme.
Claimants should provide their full name, address, date of birth, the period when they worked for Sony United Kingdom Limited, Sony Europe Limited, Sony Europe B.V. or Sony Global Treasury Services PLC and any documentation supporting your claim. Claims must be made within two months of the date of publication of this Notice. After the end of the two month period following publication of this Notice the Trustee of the Scheme will proceed to apply the assets of the Scheme to secure benefits for known Scheme members and beneficiaries.
If any person has any other claim against or interest in the Scheme, you should write to the Scheme administrator as above setting out the particulars of your claim in writing, with documentation in support.
If you have already received information from the Trustee of the Scheme regarding the winding-up of the Scheme, there is no need to respond to this Notice.
