NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1261 From C1234 To Knapp Green, Hoarwithy, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1261 From C1234 To Knapp Green, Hoarwithy, outside Upper Orchard. Grid Ref: 354524/229168. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Laskett Lane onto the A49 onto the C1234 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new service works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 4th of April 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
