ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Orleans Road, Twickenham
(Reference 22/080)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water connection they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Orleans Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Orleans Road between its junctions with Richmond Road and Chapel Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 28 March 2022. The restrictions will remain in force between at all times from 28 March 2022 until 1 April 2022, with back-up dates of 4 April 2022 until 8 April 2022 (if required).. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Richmond Road, Montpelier Row and Chapel Road.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a traffic warden; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Percy Road, Hampton
(Reference 22/081)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that due to the need to facilitate essential maintenance works on Hampton level crossing they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce a road closure in Percy Road, Hampton

2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to proceed in Percy Road, Hampton between a point 20 metres south of the level crossing and a point 20 metres north of the level crossing.

3. Whilst the Hampton Level Crossing in Percy Road is closed an alternative route for traffic will be via Station Road, Tudor Road and Ashley Road.

4. The Order shall come into operation on 30 March 2022 and shall remain in force for 18 months to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The works are anticipated to be in progress overnight from 23.30 on 30 March 2022 until 05.30 on 31 March 2022

6. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

7. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles.

8. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Whitton Road, Twickenham
(Ref: 22/083)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate an electrical connection, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Whitton Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Whiton Road between the A316 roundabout (Great Chertsey Road) and is junction with Rugby Road.

3. The restrictions will come into force on 4 April 2022. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 4 April 2022 until 6 April 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via A316 Chertsey Road, London Road, Twickenham Road and Mogden Lane.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Parking Suspension Second Avenue, Mortlake

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a parking suspension in Second Avenue, Mortlake.

2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand adjacent to Nos. 316-320 Mortlake High Street (in Second Avenue), and the bay outside number 5 Second Avenue where indicated by traffic signs/cones:-

3. The order will come into effect on 4 April 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 4 April 2022 until 18 May 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 46 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effects of the Orders are to:-

(a) introduce a restricted parking zone, operating at all times in Railshead Road, Twickenham except for parking in marked bags;

(b) introduce a permit holder bays, operating between 10am and Noon on Mondays to Fridays inclusive in lengths of Railshead Road.

3. Copies of particulars giving further details to the proposals: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 22/089 at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices

4. Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 21 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection. Representations may also be sent by email to Trafficorders@richmond.gov.uk
