This closure which follows an emergency notice will come into operation on 31 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 17 February 2023 or until works have been finished. Orders A) to L) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to introduce a 50mph speed limit on North Chippenham Link Road, Chippenham - from its roundabout junction with A350/B4158 Malmesbury Road to its roundabout junction with B4069/Parsonage Way.
