The A49 Trunk Road (Grafton To Belmont, Herefordshire) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) has made an Order on the A49 Trunk Road, in the County of Herefordshire, to allow resurfacing and repair works to be carried out. The effect of the Order will be to -
(1) close the A49 between its roundabout junction with the B4399, near Grafton, and its roundabout junction with the A465 Belmont Road, near Belmont; and

(2) prohibit any vehicle from entering or leaving the length of the A49 described in (1) above at the junction with any side road.

The work will be carried out overnight between 20:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected to start on Sunday 3 April 2022 and continue for approximately four weeks. The Order will come into force on 28 March 2022. Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closure and prohibition. Access to properties will be maintained at all times.
Diversion routes via the A417, A4103, A438, Leadon Way, A417, M50, A449 and A40 and vice versa will be signed. For further information please contact
