The Council Of The Borough Of St Helens (A570 St Helens Linkway 60mph Speed Limits) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 23rd of March 2022 St Helens Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 84(1) and (2) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the aforesaid Act, made an Order, the effect of which will be as described in the Schedule below.
SCHEDULE 1 - 60 MPH SPEED LIMIT
Road Length

A570 ST HELENS LINKWAY Northbound  From its junction with the Rainhill Northbound Stoops Interchange, in a northerly direction, to a point 510m south of its junction with B5204 Elton Head Road
A570 ST HELENS LINKWAY Southbound From a point 172m south of its Southbound junction with B5204 Elton Head Road, in a southerly direction, to its junction with the Rainhill Stoops Interchange
This order will come into operation on the 28th of March 2022.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Act 1984 or that any requirements of the Act, or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
