(Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 09346363) has made an Order on the A590 Trunk Road, in the District of South Lakeland, in the County of Cumbria, to enable the improvement of road markings, signage and pedestrian crossing facilities, to be carried out in safety. The Order will ban all traffic from the layby adjacent to the westbound carriageway of the A590 Trunk Road located 134 metres west of the Cartmel Lane Underpass. The closure is expected to be in place during a continuous period, starting at 00:01 on Monday 28 March 2022 and ending at 23:59 on Friday 17 June 2022. However, works may start and continue during subsequent continuous periods, until completed. The prohibitions will not apply to works vehicles, and will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs.
