Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Thame, Nelson Street Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 11 April 2022 Coming into force: 19 April 2022 This Order is being introduced because of fibre cable ducting installation works which are anticipated to be completed 9 May 2022. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in Nelson Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic will be signed locally. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. Cholsey, Footpath 167/18/10 Closure
Date of Order: 20 December 2021
Came into force: 10 January 2022 This Order was introduced because of bridge repairs which were anticipated to be completed on 31 March 2022. The revised date is now during August 2022. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily part of Footpath 167/18/10 as carried by the railway bridge. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The alternative route is via FP167/18/10, 167/17/10, 167/4/10 and vice versa. This Order, with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport will remain in force until 31 August 2022 or until the works have been completed whicheveris the sooner. (Ref. VARIATION OF CHARGES TO PAY AND DISPLAY ON STREET PARKING PLACES (APRIL 2022)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Oxfordshire County Council (the "Council") pursuant to Section 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that parking charges at on-street parking places in central Oxford, Abingdon, Henley-on-Thames & Wallingford, designated by the Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford Central Area) (Designation and Regulation of Street Parking Places) Order 2017, Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads - South Oxfordshire) (Map Based) (Prohibition And Restriction Of Waiting And Permitted Parking) Order 2021, and The Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads - Vale Of White Horse District Excluding The Parish Of North Hinksey) (Map Based) (Prohibition And Restriction Of Waiting And Permitted Parking) Order 2021 as amended, will be varied. The revised charges - in-line with the approved budgets set at Cabinet in January 2022 - will come into effect on 1 April 2022. The following tables gives details of the Pay and Display parking places where, and the times when the parking charges will be varied and the increases.
