Notice is given that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes to make the above Order

1. Essex and Suffolk Water will be completing repair and maintenance works in the footway and carriageway.
2.The proposed works are listed in Table 1 to this notice. The effect of the order will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the road included in Table 1 to this notice. Diversions will be signed as specified in Table 1.

3. The Order has been made on 30 March 2022 but will come into effect on 04 April 2022 and

s expected to be completed by 08 April 2022; but may continue in force for 18 months or unti the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier and will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs.
4. Access for emergency vehicles, vehicles being used in connection with the works, residents and pedestrians will be always maintained during the closure.

5.Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction/prohibition imposed by this Notice may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice.
