Section 14 - The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Notice Of Traffic Orders For Temporary Road Closures And Restrictions

Notice is given that SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL intend to
make the following temporary orders:
(STR000330 Haydon Street, Swindon) This Order is being

introduced to allow Thames Water to carry out sewer repairs
and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Haydon Street
to the rear of Aylesbury Street.
Traffic to be diverted via Aylesbury Street, Haydon Street,
Alexandra Road, Station Road, Corporation Street, Manchester
Road, Milford Street, Holbrook Way, Cheltenham Street and
Station Road.

The Order will come into force on the 23 May 2022 for 6 months but it is anticipated the road closure is only required between 23 May to 18 July 2022. (STR000331 High Street, Wanborough) This Order is being introduced to allow for carriageway resurfacing and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on High Street between Callas Hill and Rotten Row.
(STR000331 High Street, Wanborough)
Traffic to be diverted via Rotten Row, Kite Hill, Church Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into force on the 6 April 2022 for 6 months but it is anticipated the road closure is only required between
6 to 8 April 2022.
(STR000314, Belle Vue Road, Swindon) This Order is being introduced to allow Thames Water to carry out sewer repairs and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Belle Vue Road at the junction with Church Road/Union Row Traffic to be diverted, (south-bound) via Belle Vue Rd, Hunt St, Victoria Rd and Union Row. North Bound via:Albert St, Wood St, Devizes Rd, Newport St, High St, Cricklade St and Belle Vue Rd.

The Order will come into force on the 3 May 2022 for 6 months but it is anticipated the road closure is only required between 3 to 23 May 2022.
(STR000326 Tewkesbury Cross Roundabout, Swindon) This Order is being introduced to allow Thames Water to carry out repairs and will prohibit vehicles from turning left from Whitehill Way into Tewkesbury Way at Tewkesbury Cross Roundabout. Traffic to be diverted via Whitehill Way, Mead Way, Peatmoor Way, Roughmoor Way and Tewkesbury Cross. The Order will come into force on the 9 May 2022 for 6 months but it is anticipated the traffic restriction is only required
This Order is being introduced to allow Thames Water to carry out repairs and will prohibit vehicles from turning left from Whitehill Way into Tewkesbury Way at Tewkesbury Cross Roundabout. Traffic to be diverted via Whitehill Way, Mead Way, Peatmoor Way, Roughmoor Way and Tewkesbury Cross. The Order will come into force on the 9 May 2022 for 6 months but it is anticipated the traffic restriction is only required
between the 9 to 13 May 2021.
(STR000333 Gloucester Street, Swindon) This Order is being

prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Gloucester Street at the
junction with Station Road. A suspension of the taxi ranks
and one way will also be in place.
Traffic to be diverted via Milford Street, Holbrook Way,
Cheltenham Street and Station Road.
The Order will come into force on the 22 April 2022 for
6 months but it is anticipated the traffic restrictions will be in
place between the 22 to 23 April 2022 or 29 to 30 April 2022.
(STR000335 Hampton Lane, Highworth) This Order is being

connection and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on
Hampton Lane between the properties named 'Somerset'
and 'Hampton Lodge'.
Traffic to be diverted via B4019 Cricklade Road.
The Order will come into force on the 17 May 2022 for
6 months but it is anticipated the road closure is only
required between 17 to 23 May 2022.
