Somerset County Council District of Sedgemoor Parish of Bridgwater Without Temporary Closure of River Lane

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along River Lane - from 17 metres west of the junction with Small Industries Estate Approach, westwards for a total distance of 150 metres. This Order will enable BT Openreach to carry out cabling and gully works. The Order becomes effective on 5th April 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 11th April 2022 and last until 16th April 2022 between the hours of 21:00 - 06:00 for a total of 5 nights. Please visit
