Somerset County Council District of Sedgemoor Parish of Lympsham Temporary Closure of The Worthings

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along The Worthings - from 95 metres east of the junction with Lympsham Road, eastwards for a total distance of 50 metres. This Order will enable BT Openreach to carry out pole inspection works. The Order becomes effective on 22nd March 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 28th March 2022 and last until 28th March 2022 between the hours of 09:30 -15:30 for a total of 6 hours. There is no alternative route for this closure.
