Appointment of a Hackney Carriage Stand

Worcester City Council hereby gives notice that in
accordance with the powers contained in Section
63 of The Local Government (Miscellaneous
Provisions) Act, 1976, it intends to:
Appoint a new evening hackney carriage stand,
to be located in the bus layby, to the east side of
College Street, Worcester City Centre, in a south
easterly direction, adjacent to Cathedral Square,
opposite Worcester Cathedral. To operate
between the hours of 20:30hrs and 06:00hrs
seven days a week, providing spaces for four
hackney carriage vehicles.

Any objection to the proposed Hackney Carriage
stand must be made in writing to:
Licensing Manager, Wyre Forest House, Finepoint
Way, Kidderminster, Worcestershire, DY11 7WF.
No later than: 15th April 2022.
Details of the proposed stand may be seen free
of charge, at the Customer Service Centre, The
Guildhall, High Street, Worcester, WR1 2EY during
normal office hours.
