The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.7) Order 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 14 March 2022, made the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders will be to:
a) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.
Alderton Road, Croydon
Outside No. 34 and partially across the frontage of No. 32
Edridge Road, Croydon
Outside No. 95 and partially across the frontage of No. 97 (replaces one permit/payment parking bay)
Spring Park Road, Croydon
Outside No. 65 and partially across the frontage of No. 64
Westcombe Avenue, Croydon
Outside No. 19 and partially across the frontage of No.17
b) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.
2. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 21 March 2022 and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon' Facility, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA.
3. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from the Parking Design Team, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CRO 1EA.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

INTRODUCTION OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING BAYS AND CHARGING POINTS - VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF CROYDON
The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (No. 6) Order 2022
The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.6) Order 2022
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 14 March 2022 made the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers and also proposes to install electric vehicle charging points under section 16 of the London Local Authorities and Transport for London Act 2013.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be:-
(a) To provide parking places which may be used free of charge by electrically propelled vehicles that are being charged with electrical power, operational at any time on Mondays to Sundays inclusive, in the locations detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.
(b) To install electric vehicle charging points adjacent to the proposed parking places, as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
(c) To amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.
NOTE: although parking in the electric vehicle bays is free of charge there is normally a cost involved in the use of the adjacent electric vehicle charging points.
3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 21 March 2022 and of all associated Orders can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.
4. Copies of the Orders may also be obtained from Parking Design, 6th Floor Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CR0 1EA (email: parking.design@croydon.gov.uk).
5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

LYNWOOD GARDENS, CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas connection works they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Lynwood Gardens.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Lynwood Gardens will be closed between the common boundary of Nos. 34 and 36 Lynwood Gardens and the railway line.
3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be via Lynwood Gardens, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 21 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 28 March 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED, THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
POLLARDS HILL NORTH, NORBURY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate blockage clearance works in the carriageway, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic in Pollards Hill North.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Pollards Hill North will be closed between its junctions with London Road and Pollards Hill East.
3. During the closure the alternative route for traffic will be via Beech Road, Beatrice Avenue, London Road, Pollards Hill South and Pollards Hill East, as appropriately sign posted.
4. The Order will come into operation on the 22 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in three days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
6. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer;
(c) any vehicle used to carry out the said works.

NORTHBOROUGH ROAD, NORBURY
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate pole spanning works they have made an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Northborough Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Northborough Road will be closed between its junctions with London Road and Norton Gardens.
3. During the works the diversion route for traffic will be via London Road, Tylecrofl Road and Norton Gardens, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 18 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within six days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THORNHILL ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate carriageway defect rectification works on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Thornhill Road, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Thornhill Road will be closed at its junction with St James's Road.
3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for traffic will be via Thornhill Road, Whitehorse Road and St James's Road and reversed, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 22 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed in one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

WHITEHALL ROAD, THORNTON HEATH
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate cable installation works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Whitehall Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, rolling parking suspensions and temporary waiting and loading restrictions operating 'at any time' will be introduced in Whitehall Road.
3. The Order will come into operation on 21 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 11 April 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be reintroduced if further works are required.
4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) a vehicle being used to carry out the said works;
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
