Section 14 - The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Notice Of Traffic Orders For Temporary Road Closures And Restrictions
Notice is given that SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL made the following temporary orders:
(STR000332 Piccadilly Roundabout, Covingham) This Order is being introduced to allow resurfacing works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Piccadilly Roundabout and 100 metres of all entry/exit roads off the roundabout which include The Drive, Dorcan Way and Covingham Drive. Traffic to be diverted via Dorcan Way to Greenbridge, Drakes Way, A4259 Queens Drive, Coate Roundabout, Dorcan Way and vice versa. The Order will come into force on the 28 March 2022 for 6 months but it is anticipated the road closures will only be place overnight between 7pm and 6am from the 28 March 2022 and 5 April 2022.

(STR000334, Belle Vue Road, Swindon) This Order is being introduced to allow works to adjacent building and will suspend the resident parking bays as indicated by signs outside No 33 Belle Vue Road, Swindon. The Order will come into force on the 21 Marc 2022 for 6 months but it is expected suspension of bays will only be in force for up to 12 weeks. (STR000310 Eastleaze Buslink) This Order is being introduced to allow excavation and installation of duct works for fibre network and will prohibit buses to proceed on the Eastleaze buslink which runs between Eastleaze Road and Chelmsford Road. The Order will come into force on the 19 April 2022 for 6 months but it is anticipated the bus link will be restricted between the 19 April 2022 and 6 May 2022. (STR000319 Whitehouse Road and Corporation Street, Swindon) This Order is being introduced to allow excavation and installation of duct works for fibre network and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Corporation Street between Whitehouse Road and Armstrong Street and Whitehouse Road between Great Western Way at Cockleberry Roundabout and Corporation Street. Traffic to be diverted via Great Western Way, Kemble Drive, Rodbourne Road, Park Lane, Faringdon Road, Emlyn Square, London Street, Sheppard Street, Station Road, and County Road and vice versa. The Order will come into force on the 19 April 2022 for 6 months but it is anticipated the road closures will be in place between the 19 April 2022 and 11 May 2022.
