NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works proposed to be executed on or near Game Scar Lane / Goose Eye Bridge, Laycock, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Game Scar Lane / Goose Eye Bridge from its junction with Lund Lane for approximately 200 metres in a northerly direction.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Goose Eye Bridge (unaffected section), Laycock Lane, Braithwaite Road, West Lane, Oakworth Road, Fell Lane, Stell Hill, Holme House Lane, Game Scar Lane (unaffected section) and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect at 09:30 hours on the 30th March 2022 and remain in force until 15:30 hours on the 30th March 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
