(Consett) (Parking and Waiting Restrictions) Consolidation No. 1 Order 2014 (Amendment No. 1)
Order 2021

The Council on 11 March 2022 made an Order under Sections 1,2,4, and part TV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 "the Act"), as amended, the effect of which comes into operation on 24 March 2022 and is To introduce 'No Waiting At Any Time' restrictions on: a. South west side of Victoria Road (back) for the full length for 59 metres b. West side of Medomsley Road (back) from the gable end of 51 Medomsley Road in a northerly direction and around the junction of Livingstone Street for 51 metres c. East side of Medomsley Road (back) with the junction of Livingstone Street for 5 metres. To introduce 'Limited Waiting and Loading/Unloading' restrictions (Mon-Fri 0830am -0930am & 1430pm -15.30) on: Both sides of Waterfront Gardens from the gable end of number 2 Waterfront Gardens in a westerly men southerly direction around the curvature of the road for 38.5 metres & 32 metres (70.5 metres Total).

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by "the Act", as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks from 17 March 2022, apply to make an application for that purpose to the High Court
