THE COUNCIL OF BUCKINGHAMSHIRE (ELECTRIC SCOOTER) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2022
Buckinghamshire Council have made the above Order on the 18th March 2022 under the provisions of ss1, 2 and 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9. The effect of the Order which will be to continue in force the provisions of The Council of Buckinghamshire Experimental (Electric Scooter) Traffic Regulation Order 2020, which has been in operation since 2nd October 2020. Whilst this Order is in force the relevant Traffic Regulation Orders shall be varied by the addition of an article to permit Electric Scooters to travel in the cycle lanes and cycle tracks specified in the Schedule of that Order. In addition, Electric Scooters will not be permitted for use on the highway in the county with a signed speed limit of 50mph or more. The Order comes into operation on 31st March 2022 and will remain in force until the Electronic Scooter Trials as authorised by the Department for Transport come to an end. A copy of the above order as made, notice, plans and statement of reasons will be placed on deposit at Walton Street Offices, Walton Street,
Aylesbury HP20 1 from 4th March 2022 until 25th March 2022. The documents will also be available on the Council's website at buckinghamshire.gov.uk. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it or that are not within the powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may within six weeks from the date of this Notice apply for that purpose to the High Court.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Trenches Lane, Wexham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Trenches Lane for 153 metres. Alternative route: Langley Park Road, Billet Lane, Trenches Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst cable instillation takes place commencing on 31 March 2022 between 08:00 and 17:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 31 March 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Sevenhills Road, Iver in the Parish of Iver CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Sevenhills Road from the bridge for approximately 170m. Alternative route: Sevenhills Road, Denham Road, Bangors Road North, Church Road, Uxbridge Road, Slough Road, Pinewood Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst annual inspection of multi element Maurer joint (MEMJ) on Sevenhills overbridge as part of CPS 21SP22 MEMJ Monitoring scheme take place commencing on 21 March 2022 between 21:00 and 05:00 (only). The proposed Order will come into operation on 21 March 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Hedgerley Lane, Beaconsfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Hedgerley Lane for 44 metres. Alternative route: Malthouse Square, Lakes Lane, Hedgerley Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst al id cover replacement takes place commencing on 29 March 2022 between 08:00 and 16:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 29 March 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Pinewood Road, Iver in the Parish of Iver CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Pinewood Road for approximately 69m. Alternative route: Pinewood Road, Fulmer Common Road, Black Park Road, Uxbridge Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Affinity Water new connection works take place commencing on 5 April 2022. Road will remian closed for the duration of the works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 5 April 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
