Tendring District Council Town And Country Planning Act 1990 S257 Public Path Diversion Order Footpath 3 Great Bentley District Of Tendring
In accordance with Section 257 and paragraph 8 of schedule 14 to the above Act, notice is hereby given that on 2 March 2022 Essex County Council certified that the replacement rights of way required under the terms of the above order have been created to its reasonable satisfaction. The order has now taken effect.


Notice of Confirmation of An Order Highways Act 1980 Public Path Diversion Order Footpath 3 Aldham
On 23rd February 2022 Essex County Council confirmed the above order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the order is to divert a part of FP3 Aldham of unknown width shown by a bold continuous black line on the Order Map, commencing at its junction with Footpath 4 and running in a north westerly direction across an arable field to an alternative route 2 metres wide running along the northern edge of the same arable field, shown by a broken bold black line on the Order Map.
Copies of the orders and the order maps can be requested to be posted or viewed by emailing publicpathorders@essexhighways.org, quoting the order title. The documents can be made available for inspection 8.30am - 4.30pm Mon-Fri at Essex County Council E block reception, County Hall, Market Road, Chelmsford. Copies of the orders and order maps have also been sent to Aldham Parish Council, Eight Ash Green Parish Council and Colchester Borough Council. The alternative route will come into force on 23rd March 2022 and the old route will be stopped up with effect from 30th March 2022 but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 17th March 2022 make an application to the High Court.


Notice of Making of An Order Highways Act 1980 Rail Crossing Diversion Order 2022 Footpath 5 Weeley
The above order, made on 9 March 2022 under section 119A of the Highways Act 1980, will divert a part length of Footpath 5 Weeley of unknown width shown by a bold continuous line on the order map commencing from a point at the northern boundary of a wooded area and the junction with Footpaths 3 and 4 Weeley running in a generally south easterly direction through the wooded area crossing the railway line by means of an at-grade crossing and continuing on the southern side of the railway line for a total distance of 147 metres to the point where it meets a farm track, to an alternative route 2 metres in width shown by a bold broken line on the order map commencing at a point located 31 metres north of the aforementioned start point where it connects to Footpath 3 Weeley and runs in a generally south easterly then north easterly direction around the field edge for a distance of 104 metres to a point where it continues via a ramped footbridge in a repeated north easterly, south westerly and south easterly direction across the railway line for a further distance of 381 metres to the point where the footbridge ends and continues in first a south westerly then south easterly then finally south westerly direction across a meadow for a final distance of 68 metres to the aforementioned end point where it continues unaffected.

Documents can be made available for inspection 8.30am-4.30pm Mon-Fri at Essex County Council, County Hall, E block main reception, Market Road, Chelmsford if so required following the current social distancing restrictions. Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Robert Lee, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM1 1QH not later than 14 April 2022 Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.


(Footpath 21, Mount Bures) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that section of Footpath 21, Mount Bures in the Borough of Colchester, that crosses the railway line. There is no available passage across the railway line in the vicinity.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 18/03/2022 to 31/08/2022 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while work is carried out to repair the embankment to the railway crossing, which has resulted in dangerous underfoot conditions. There is no alternative diversion route.
The Order will come into effect on 18/03/2022 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier


(High Street, Walton on the Naze) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Street, Walton on the Naze in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Saville Street to its junction with The Parade a distance of approximately 55m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th April 2022 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7011001127897 -Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via The Parade, High Street or Saville Street, Standley Road and Princes Esplanade.
The Order will come into effect on 24th March 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier


(Holts Road/Cockrells Road, Little Horkesley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Holts Road, Little Horkesley in the Borough of Colchester, from its junctions with School Road/Cockrells Road for a distance of approximately 80m in a southerly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Cockrells Road, Little Horkesley in the Borough of Colchester, from its junctions with School Road, Holts Road for a distance of approximately 175m in a south westerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 20th April 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WCTP0L4G1 & 2 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via School Road, Vinesse Road, Workhouse Road, Crabtree Lane, Bures Road, Main Road, Packards Lane and vice versa (with access only into Little Horkesley Road, Cockrells Road, School Road and Holts Road). The Order will come into effect on 24th March 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier


(Richard Avenue, Wivenhoe) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Richard Avenue, Wivenhoe in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Broadfields to its junction with Alexandra Drive a distance of approximately 290m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th April 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2326353 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Alexandra Drive, Broadfields and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 24th March 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier


(Spring Lane North, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Spring Lane North, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 130m north of the junction with Spring Lane Roundabout for a distance of approximately 245m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th April 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA54852799 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Brook Street, Wivenhoe) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Brook Street, Wivenhoe in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Hamilton Road, to its junction with St Johns Road a distance of approximately 10m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th March 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008JXF521EA30MAR -Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Openreach. (Circular Road North, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Circular Road North, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Flagstaff Road for a distance of approximately 75m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th April 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM59747263 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole cover replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Frinton Road, Holland on Sea/ Clacton Road, Great Holland in the District of Tendring, from the junction with Kings Parade (roundabout) to the junction with Little Clacton Road a distance of approximately 2655m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th March 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2320573 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway investigation and repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Southview Drive, Frinton Road, Holland Road, Clarendon Park, Church Road, Carnarvon Road, Wellesley Road Roundabout, Wellesley Road, Olivers Road, Old Road, St Johns Road, North Road, Thorpe Road, Thorpe Road Roundabout, Centenary Way, Sladburys Lane, Great Holland Common Road, Little Clacton Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 10th March 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


(Golden Lane, Thorpe-le-Soken) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Golden Lane, Thorpe-le-Soken in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Colchester Road for a distance of approximately 125m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st March 2022 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7011001126236 -Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent. (Newbridge Road, Tiptree/Layer Marney) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Newbridge Road, Tiptree/Layer Marney in the Borough of Colchester, from the junction with Grove Road to the junction with Haynes Green Road a distance of approximately 1595m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th March 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2325787 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gully installation works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Parsonage Hill, Boxted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Parsonage Hill, Boxted in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 110m east of its junction with Church Street for a distance of approximately 120m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th March 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01559443780 - Anglian Water). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Shipwrights, Wivenhoe in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Dry Dock for a distance of approximately 70m in a south westerly direction to its end. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th March 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231006414 -Freedom). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while navigation tower removal works are undertaken by Freedom. No diversion is available for this closure.
