(A1245 Chelmsford Road, Rayleigh, Rochford) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section S84, and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order: To Introduce: 40mph Speed Limit on A1245 Chelmsford Road, Rayleigh, Rochford (an existing derestricted road)

Description
A1245 Chelmsford Road
From its junction with A127 Southend Arterial Road Slip Road where it meets the A1245 (Fairglen Interchange), in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 430 metres.
This Order will come into operation on: 29 March 2022 If you need to view a hard copy of these documents, please call (or text) 07786 125874 to arrange a suitable time to inspect the documents quoting the below reference number. Documents can be made available for inspection 8.30am-5.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am-5pm on Friday at Essex County Council, County Hall E block main reception, Market Road, Chelmsford as required. Alternatively, documents can be posted to you upon request.
Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.


(Hambro Avenue & Preston Gardens, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hambro Avenue & Preston Gardens, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 65m south east of the junction with Down Hall Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a south easterly then north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th March 2022 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M41013 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new water valve works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water An alternative route is available via Hambro Hill, Down Hall Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 24th March 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


(Labworth Road, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Labworth Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Furtherwick Road for a distance of approximately 30m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st April 2022 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001122141 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Grafton Road, Labworth Road, Furtherwick Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 24th March 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


(Willow Drive, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Willow Drive, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 105m north west of its junction with Willow Close for a distance of approximately 20m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th April 2022 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30083288788 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cable installation works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is not available.
The Order will come into effect on 24th March 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


(Woodfield Road, Hadleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Woodfield Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Chandos Parade for a distance of approximately 60m in a south then south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th April 2022 for 23 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001122885 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Woodfield Road, Chandos Parade and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 24th March 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


(Various Roads, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.1) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the Borough of Basildon as detailed in the Schedule.
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of road as detailed in the schedule.
3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on that length of road as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
4. "The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works are scheduled to commence after 10th March 2022, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast broadband installation works are undertaken by County Broadband Ltd.
The Order came into effect on 10th March 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
