Proposal to Expand Tendring Primary School, Tendring

Notice is given in accordance with section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 that Essex County Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to Tendring Primary School, School Road, Tendring, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, CO16 0BP, from 01 September 2023.
The proposal is to enlarge the premises of Tendring Primary School to increase its capacity from 140 to 210 places, with effect from 1 September 2023. The current capacity of the school is 140 and the proposed capacity will be 210. The current number of pupils registered at the school is 181. The current admission number for the school is 20 and the proposed admission number will be 30.
