Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) C62 (Part), Donhead St Mary; from its junction with Church Hill for a distance of approximately 300m in a north westerly direction to enable BT to carry out overhead cabling and associated works. Alternative route via C62 (unaffected length) - C310 - C311 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 12 April 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. B) Shady Bower (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Shady Bower Close to its junction with Fowlers Hill.
C) Fowlers Hill (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Shady Bower to its junction with Fowlers Road to enable BT to carry out access to under structures and associated works. Alternative route via Shady Bower (unaffected length) - Manor Farm Road - Laverstock Road - Milford Hill - Rampart Road -Tollgate Road - Fowlers Hill (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 April 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 for 1 day. D) C325 (Part), Burcombe Without; from its junction with A30 for approximately 150m in an easterly direction to enable BT to carry out pole test and associated works. Alternative route via A30 - C63 - C325 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 21 March 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. E) C25 (Part), Fonthill Gifford; from its junction with C43 for approximately 440m in a north westerly direction to enable BT to carry out pole test and associated works. Alternative route via C25 (unaffected length) - Fonthill Park - C43 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 25 March 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. F) The Common (Part), Shrewton; from its junction with A360 to outside property known as Westwood to enable Wessex Water to repair a service leak. Alternative route via The Common (unaffected length) - B3083 - A360 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 March 2022 and the closure will be required for 1 day. Orders (a) to (f) will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 SECTION 119 AND WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL BULFORD 5 (PART) DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2022
The above order, made on 8 March 2022, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert Footpath Bulford 5 (part) situated at Double Hedges, Bulford, leading from OSGR SU 1693-4326 in an east north easterly direction for approximately 877m to OSGR SU 1777-4350, to a new route at OSGR SU 1692-4329, leading in a generally east north easterly direction for approximately 956m to SU 1777-4350, having a width of 2.5m. And thereupon the Amesbury Rural District Council Area Definitive Map and Statement dated 1952 shall be modified accordingly.
