The effect of this Order is as follows:
[1] To impose temporary road closure on the access road leading to Higher Came Farm, Higher Came from the junction with Herringston Road to a point 340 metres to the east. There will be no alternative route on this occasion, however access will be maintained.
[2] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along the access road leading to Higher Came Farm, Higher Came from the junction with Herringston Road to a point 340 metres to the east. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. Please note that the dates are a window of opportunity and the road may not be closed for the whole duration stated above and the works are weather dependant.

Temporary Closure of Water Meadow Lane, Wool
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 25 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 5 May 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
The effect of this Order is as follows:

DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 26 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 6 May 2022.

Temporary Closure of Burton Road, Dorchester
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Burton Road, Dorchester, from outside the Sun Inn to outside Loders Petrol Station (in both directions), a distance of approximately 530 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation between 09:30 until 15:30 on 2 May 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 17 June 2022. The road will reopen overnight and at weekends.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out urgent masonry repairs, invert repairs and scour protection work to Mohuns Little Bridge and Mohuns Great Bridge. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Traffic Management Notice, Temporary Parking Restriction, Weymouth Avenue, Dorchester
DORSET COUNCIL has issued an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended.
The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to highway users. The Order comes into operation on 11 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 17 June 2022. This Order will enable a safe working area to facilitate Dorset Council to replace the paving slabs on the western footway.
The effect of the Order is as follows: The Traffic Regulation Order in place on Wednesdays and Sundays which facilitates drop off's and pick up's for the Dorchester Market will be temporarily revoked to facilitate a parking restriction between 2 Weymouth Avenue to outside Dukes Avenue Auctions. The County of Dorset (B3157, Chickerell) (30 mph Speed Limit) (No.1) Order 2022
Dorset Council has made an Order under Sections 81(1),82(1),84(1,2), and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
When the Order comes into operation on 1 April 2022 the effect of the Order will be revoke the existing 40 mph limit on a section of the B3157 and to extend the current 30mph limit on Chickerell Road in its place. Approximately 1150m will be 30mph by virtue of street lighting and approximately 220m by Traffic Regulation Order. Temporary Closure of Public Footpath S33/12 & S33/13, Osmington
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along Various Footpaths in Osmington as listed; [i] Public footpath S33/13 from grid reference SY 7354 8174 to grid reference SY 7338 8175 a distance of approximately 90 metres; [ii] Public footpath S33/12 from grid reference SY 7354 8174 to grid reference SY 7354 8166 a distance of approximately 100 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.
It will come into operation on 30 March 2022 for a period of 26 weeks, but it is anticipated the order will be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, due to the safety implications following the landslip.
This closure is needed due to the path being unsafe due to land slip.

Temporary Closure of Pinehurst Road, West Moors
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Pinehurst Road, West Moors from the junction of Beechwood in a North Westerly direction (in both directions), a distance of approximately 150 metres from this point. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 16 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months. however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 23 April 2022.
This Order will enable JDT Utilities agents for SGN to lay a new gas main and connect to newly laid PE.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using: Oakhurst Road - Oakhurst Lane - Heathfield Road.

It will come into operation on 11 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 27 May 2022.
This Order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to upgrade the existing 4" upvc main as it's degrading, causing regular bursts and leakage. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using: West Bourton Road - B3081 -New Road.
