NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1196 From Rose Cottage To Cornerstone Via Madley, Madley, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1196 From Rose Cottage To Cornerstone Via Madley, Madley, outside Rose Cottage. Grid Ref: 342146/239003. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via U73208 onto C1098 onto B4352 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to CCTV, cleaning, jetting and drainage works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 28th of March 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
