NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1196 From Rose Cottage To Cornerstone Via Madley, Madley, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1196 From Rose Cottage To Cornerstone Via Madley, Madley, outside Bramble Cottage to junction with Church Croft. Grid Fief: 341822/238554. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via onto the B4352 onto Stone Street onto Little Brampton To Coldwell Road onto Brampton Road and vice versa.

The said closure Is required due to cable diversion works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come Into force on 11th of April 2022 and remain In force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 16 days.
