Collingbourne Kingston, Temporary Closure

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all users: A) Footpath 1 (Part), Collingbourne Kingston; from its junction with A338 to its junction with Footpath 11. B) Byway 1A (Part), Collingbourne Kingston; from its junction with A338 to its junction with Byway 20 to enable Wessex Water to replace an existing water supply with a new main. Alternative route A) via Footpath 10 and Footpath 11. No alternative route for Byway 1A. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 14 April 2022 and the closures will be required between the hours of 07:30 and 17:00 until 24 June 2022. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 06 months.

Alternative route via C120 (unaffected length) - C108 - C45 - B4069 - A3012 - C120 (unaffected length). This Order will come into operation on 14 April 2022 and the closure will be required for 1 day. This Order will come into operation on 11 April 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. This Order will come into operation on 11 April 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 until 19 April 2022. Alternative route via C112 (unaffected length) - Turf House Lane - C113 - C112 (unaffected length) and vice versa. - A3102 - New Road - Station Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 21 March 2022 and the closure will be required for 5 days. For further information please contact Ringway on behalf of Wiltshire Council on 0300 456 0105. Orders (a) to (m) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be as follows: Order 1 To introduce a 30mph speed limit on Fullaway Farm Road, Manor Farm Road and UC Road (Stert Village Road), Stert - the complete lengths. Order 2 To revoke The County of Wiltshire (A342, Urchfont and Chirton) (50mph Speed Limit) Order 2012 and re-enact it in the above Order 2 for administrative purposes only and to introduce a 50mph speed limit on A342, Stert and Urchfont - from a point 25 metres west of its junction with UC Road (Stert Village Road), Stert to a point 556 metres north west of its junction with C248, Urchfont.
