In the opinion of the Council, as Local Planning Authority, this development would not involve a departure from the Local Development Plan. Reason: The development site is located within the designated Metropolitan Green Belt and would be assessed under Section 13 (Para 147-151) of the NPPF (2021), Policy G2 of the London plan (2021), Policy CP33 of the Enfield Core Strategy (2010) and Policy DMD82 of the Enfield Development Management Document (2014). The policies fore mentioned are highly restrictive to new development within the Green Belt and restrict development of the type proposed within the planning application
