(Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No. 21) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To amend the following restrictions in the District of Tendring:
(a) to introduce 'No Stopping At Any Time' red route restrictions: both sides of Crown Road at its junction with Arnold Road, including the island; both sides of Blenheim Road at its junction with Arnold Road, including the island; both sides of Queen's Road at its junction with Arnold Road, including the island; on the south-west side of Arnold Road from a point outside No. 55 to a point outside No. 59, including the island; on the south-west side of Arnold Road from a point outside No. 63 to a point outside No. 71, including the island; on the northeast side of Arnold Road from a point outside No. 66 to a point outside No. 68, including the island; on the north side of Colchester Road at its junction with The Street, Harwich Road and Station Road; the north side of the Harwich Road island at its junction with Colchester Road, The Street and Station Road; on the east side of The Street from its junction with Harwich Road for approximately 78 metres north; on the west side of The Street from the northern property boundary of Hamlin House to its junction with Picotts Place; on the south-west side of Waterside from the southern property boundary of No. 58 to the northern property boundary of Nos. 42 to 48; on the south side of Stephenson Road in various locations as protections to road junctions and the entrances of properties between its junction with Paxton Road and Telford Road; on the north side of Stephenson Road in various locations as protections to road junctions and the entrances of properties from a point approximately 81 metres east of its intersection with the extended junction of Paxton Road to its junction with Telford Road; on both sides of Paxton Road from its junction with Stephenson Road for approximately 15 metres; on both sides of Brindley Road from its junction with Stephenson Road for approximately 15 metres; on both sides of Davy Road from its junction with Stephenson Road for approximately 14 metres; on the north-west side of Telford Road at its junction with Stephenson Road;
(b) to replace the double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time) with 'No Stopping At Any Time' red route restrictions: on Nelson Road, both sides, at its junction with Freeland Road; on both sides of Trafalgar Road at its junction with Freeland Road for approximately 13 metres; on the junction of Wash Lane, St Vincent Road, Kings Road and Freeland Road; on the south-east side of Freeland Road from its junction with Wash Lane to its junction with Tower Road; on the south-west side of Tower Road opposite No. 40 and 42 Tower Road, a distance of approximately 15 metres;
(c) to replace the single yellow line (No Waiting 8am-5pm 01 May-31 Aug) with 'No Stopping At Any Time' red route restrictions on the north-east side of Waterside outside No. 59 for approximately 23 metres; the south-west side of Waterside outside No. 59 for approximately 8 metres;
(d) to replace the single yellow line (No Waiting 9am-6pm 01 Jun-31 Aug) with 'No Stopping At Any Time' red route restrictions on Wash Lane for approximately 7 metres outside No. 78 Freeland Road;
(e) to replace the single yellow line (No Waiting 9am-6pm) with 'No Stopping At Any Time' red route restrictions on the south-west side of Tower Road opposite No. 12 and 14 to No. 36 and 38, a distance of approximately 52 metres;
(f) extend the double yellow line (No Waiting At Any Time) restriction on: the west side of Colchester Road for approximately 20 metres outside No. 155 and 153; both sides of Waldegrave Way for approximately 32 metres south outside No. 140 and 146 Colchester Road; on the south-east side of Holland Road outside No. 106 to its junction with Connaught Gardens East, approximately 18 metres;
(g) to introduce double yellow lines: on both sides of Southcliff Park at its junction with Holland Road; on the north-west side of Holland Road from its junction with Southcliff Park for approximately 12 metres south-west outside No. 107; on the south-east side of Holland Road outside No. 1 to 6 Connaught House for approximately 14 metres; on the north-west side of Holland Road from its junction with Southcliff Park for approximately 145 metres north-east; on the south-west side of Connaught Gardens West at its junction with Holland Road; on the north-west side of Connaught Gardens East at its junction with Holland Road; on the north-east side of Connaught Gardens West opposite No. 1 to 6 Connaught House for approximately 14 metres; on the south-west side of Connaught Gardens East opposite No. 100 Holland Road for approximately 15 metres;
(h) to introduce: a single yellow line (No Waiting Mon-Fri 12pm-1pm excluding bank holidays) on the south-west side of Victoria Crescent outside No. 1 to No. 14; a single yellow line (No Waiting Mon-Fri 11am-12pm excluding bank holidays) on the north-east side of Victoria Crescent opposite No. 1 to No. 14.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by introducing the following tile numbers: TM050 295 and TM190 177; replacing the following tile numbers with revision 1: TM050 292, TM085 160, TM085 162, TM100 312, TM165 1 40, TM165 142, TM165 145, TM170 142, TM170 142, TM185 155 and TM185 177; replacing the following tile numbers with revision 2: TM095 312, TM100 317 and TM100 320.

(Mill Hill, Lawford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Hill, Lawford in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 440m east of the junction with Jupes Hill for a distance of approximately 340m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st March 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA54816205 -Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Long Road East, Bargate Lane, Harwich Road, Dedham Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 18th March 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Colchester Road, Great Oakley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, Great Oakley in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 150m east of its junction with Honeypot Lane for a distance of approximately 190m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st March 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30069229393 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Stonehall Lane, Wolves Hall Lane, Parsonage Lane, Clacton Road, Wilson Close, Heath Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 3rd March 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
