(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD) ORDER NO.2 2022
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the Lower High Street southbound slip road leading onto A411 Exchange Road, Watford from its junction with the northbound carriageway of Lower High Street north westwards and south westwards to its junction with the southbound carriageway of A411 Exchange Road, a distance of approximately 58m.
An alternative route will be via Lower High Street and A411 Exchange Road.
2. The existing prescribed left turn, except buses, taxis and pedal cycles Order which permits vehicles travelling north westwards in Lower High Street, Watford to only turn left onto A411 Exchange Road, will be temporarily suspended whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed to enable a cherry picker to be positioned on the highway to access a telecoms mast near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 April 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF GYPSY LANE, ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Gypsy Lane, Abbots Langley from a point in line with the southern boundary of No.40 Gypsy Lane north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 154m ("the Road").
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 April 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Dagger Lane, Elstree from its junction with A41 Tylers Way north eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 795m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via A41 Tylers Way, A411 (Elstree Road/Watford Road), Aldenham Road and Dagger Lane.
The Order is needed because the demolition and extention of 'Bio Products Laboratory Ltd' building is proposed to be executed near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 March 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Radlett Road, Watford from a point 256m south west of its junction with the Orphanage Road roundabout south westwards to its junction with Ebury Road, a distance of approximately 118m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Radlett Road, Bushey Mill Lane,A412 St Albans Road, A411 Beechen Grove, Loates Lane, Lord Street, Queens Road The Broadway, Queens Road and Radlett Road
or via Radlett Road, Queens Road, St Johns Road, Woodford Road, Station Road, A412 St Albans Road, Bushey Mill Lane and Radlett Road.
The Order is needed because LED light conversion works are proposed to be executed near the Road.

An alternative route will be via A404 (London Road/Church Street/ Riverside Drive), A412 (Rectory Road/Park Road/Scots Hill/Watford Road/ Rickmansworth Road), Hagden Lane and A4145 Tolpits Lane. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Nicolson Drive, Bushey Heath from its junction with Beamish Drive south eastwards to its junction with Finucane Rise, a distance of approximately 204m.
An alternative route will be via Beamish Drive, Prowse Avenue and Finucane Rise.
2. that length of Treacy Drive, Bushey Heath from its junction with Nicolson Drive north eastwards and south eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
3. that length of Balmoral Drive, Borehamwood from its junction with Chester Road south westwards to its junction with Arundel Drive, a distance of approximately 620m.
An alternative route will be via Chester Road, Manor Way and Arundel Drive. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of A411 Elstree Road, Bushey Heath from its junction with the A409 Heathbourne Road roundabout north eastwards to its junction with the A41 Tylers Way roundabout, a distance of approximately 600m. An alternative route will be via A409 (Heathbourne Road/Magpie Hall Road), A410 (The Common/Stanmore Hill/The Broadway/London Road), A5 Brockley Hill, A41 North Western Avenue (Watford Bypass) and A411 Elstree Road.
2. that length of Sandy Lane, Bushey from a point 243m north west of its junction with Little Bushey Lane north eastwards to its junction with A41 Tylers Way, a distance of approximately 87m.
An alternative route will be via Sandy Lane, Little Bushey Lane, B462 Hartspring Lane, Hilfield Lane and Sandy Lane.
3. that length of Rectory Lane, Shenley from its junction with Harris Lane north westwards, north eastwards, north westwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with B556 St Albans Road, a distance of approximately 2457m.
An alternative route will be via Harris Lane, Mimms Lane, Packhorse Lane and B556 St Albans Road.
The Order is needed because tree works are proposed to be executed near the Roads.

1. that length of Bridlington Road, South Oxhey from its junction with Fairfield Avenue south eastwards to its junction with Oxhey Drive, a distance of approximately 193m.
An alternative route will be via Fairfield Avenue, Henbury Way and Oxhey Drive.
2. that length of Leggatts Way, Watford from its junction with Gammons Lane north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with the Harebreaks/ Churchfields Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 257m.

3. that length of Leggatts Wood Avenue, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road north westwards to its junction with Cherry Tree Road, a distance of approximately 437m.
An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road, Longspring, Beechwood Rise and Cherry Tree Road.
4. that length of Hazel Tree Road, Watford from its junction with Leggatts Wood Avenue south westwards for a distance of approximately 20m.
An alternative route will be via Leggatts Wood Avenue, A412 St Albans Road, Longspring, Beechwood Rise and Hazel Tree Road or via Leggatts Wood Avenue, Cherry Tree Road, Beechwood Rise and Hazel Tree Road.
5. that length of Brocklesbury Close, Watford from its junction with Raphael Drive south eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.

3. that length of Hillrise Avenue, Watford from its junction with Douglas Avenue south westwards for a distance of approximately 30m.
An alternative route will be via Douglas Avenue, Woodmere Avenue, Bushey Mill Lane and Hillrise Avenue.
4. that length of Tudor Drive, Watford from its junction with Douglas Avenue south westwards for a distance of approximately 30m.
An alternative route will be via Douglas Avenue, Woodmere Avenue, Bushey Mill Lane and Tudor Drive.
5. that length of Tudor Avenue, Watford from its junction with Colne Way south westwards to its junction with Bushey Mill Lane, a distance of approximately 545m.
An alternative route will be via A41 North Western Avenue, A412 St Albans Road and Bushey Mill Lane or via Bushey Mill Lane, A412 St Albans Road, A41 (North Western Avenue/North Western Avenue Colne Way/Otterspool Way), the A1(M) (junction 5) roundabout and A41 (Otterspool Way/North Western Colne Way) and Tudor Avenue.
6. that length of Hagden Lane, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Princes Avenue, a distance of approximately 277 m.
An alternative route will be via A412 Rickmansworth Road, Ascot Road, Whippendell Road and Hagden Lane.
7. that length of Glenhaven Avenue, Borehamwood from its junction with B5378 Shenley Road north westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. ADDITIONALLY the parking bay situated on the north west side of B5378 Shenley Road, Borehamwood from a point 32m north east of its junction with Theobald Street north eastwards for a distance of approximately 19m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to park within this length of road whilst works are in progress.
ADDITIONALLY the parking bay situated on the south east side of B5378 Shenley Road, Borehamwood from a point 26m north east of its junction with Theobald Street north eastwards for a distance of approximately 40m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to park within this length of road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads, except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
a) that length of A41 North Western Avenue, Woodside from a point 260m north west of its junction with Rushton Avenue north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 960m.
An alternative route will be via A41 North Western Avenue, A412 St Albans Road, A411 Hempstead Road and A41 North Western Avenue or via A41 North Western Avenue, A411 (Hempstead Road/Hyde Road/The Avenue), A412 St Albans Road and A41 North Western Avenue.
b) that length of Water Lane, Watford from its junction with A411 Beechen Grove north eastwards to its junction with Bushey Hall Road, a distance of approximately 504m.
An alternative route will be via A411 Beechen Grove, Lower High Street, A411 (Lower High Street/Chalk Hill), B462 Aldenham Road and Bushey Hall Road or via Bushey Hall Road, B462 Aldenham Road, A4008 (Aldenham Road/ Pinner Road), A411 (Lower High Street/Dalton Way/Waterfields Way/ Beechen Grove) and Water Lane.
c) that length of Water Lane, Watford from its junction with A411 Beechen Grove south westwards to its junction with High Street, a distance of approximately 122m.
An alternative route will be via A411 (Beechen Grove/Waterfields Way/Lower High Street/ Dalton Way/Waterfields Way), Lower High Street and High Street.
d) the road fronting Nos.53-61 Water Lane, Watford from its junction with Water Lane north eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
e) the road situated on the east side of the 'River Colne', Watford from its junction with Water Lane north westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. The existing prescribed left turn, except buses, taxis and pedal cycles Order which permits vehicles travelling north westwards in Lower High Street, Watford to only turn left onto A411 Exchange Road, will be temporarily suspended whilst works are in progress.
3. The existing prohibition of left turn movements from A411 Waterfields Way into Lower High Street, Watford will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicular traffic to make this manoeuvre whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because highway drainage works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 April 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using Chorleywood Public Footpath No.020 from its junction with Quickley Lane south westwards to its junction with Heronsgate Road, a distance of approximately 130m ("the Public Footpath"). An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south side of Quickley Lane, the footway situated on the south side of Rendlesham Way, the footway situated on the north side of Stag Lane and the footway situated on the north side of Heronsgate Road.
The Order is needed because highway drainage works are proposed to be executed on or near the Public Footpath.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Harthall Lane, Bulls Green from a point in line with the western boundary of No.7 Harthall Lane north eastwards to a point in line with the eastern boundary of
Harthall Lane, a distance of approximately 78m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Harthall Lane, Railway Terrace, Hyde Lane, Bedmond Road and Harthall Lane.
The Order is needed because the replacement of existing lighting columns is proposed to be executed near the Road.
