ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Parking Restricitons Various Roads in the Borough
(Reference 22/063)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water pipe replacement works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in various streets.
2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle wait or stand in the roads detailed in the schedule, between the dates indicated. The restrictions will operate on a rolling basis.
3. The order will come into effect on 15 March 2022. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 15 March 2022 until 16 June 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Parking Suspension Lebanon Park, Twickenham
(Ref: 22/064)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate construction works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a parking suspension in Lebanon Park, Twickenham.
2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand in Lebanon Park, in the seven parking bays adjacent to The Ferry House and The Coach House.
3. The order will come into effect on 14 March 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 14 March 2022 until 27 June 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. Nothing in the Order will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Trinity Church Passage, Barnes
(Reference 22/065)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate ducting works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Trinity Church Passage, Barnes.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or exit Trinity Church Passage at its junction with Trinity Church Road.
3. The order will come into effect on 16 March 2022. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 16 March 2022 until 18 March 2022 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Merthyr Terrace and Trinity Church Road.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

Temporary Road Closure Rocks Lane, Barnes

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate tree cutting works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Rocks Lane, Barnes.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Rocks Lane between its junction with Queen Elizabeth Walk and a point 20 metres south of that point.
3. The order will come into effect on 13 March 2022. The restrictions will be in force at all times from between 9am and 3pm on 13 March 2022 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Church Road and Mill Hill Road.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

NOTICE OF VARIATION OF PARKING CHARGES FOR ON-STREET PAY AND DISPLAY/PAY BY PHONE PARKING
(Ref 22/070)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames hereby gives notice under section 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that revised car parking charges will come into effect on 1 April 2022.
2. The revised charges for on street pay and display bays are set out in Schedule 1 below for the parking places affected by the changes together with the existing charges.
3. For residents of the borough under the age of 75, the discount will be 10% of the Tier 3 charge or free parking for a stay of no more than 30 minutes. For the purpose of this Notice, this is known as the "Tier 2" charge.
4. For residents over the age of 75, the discount will be 20% of the Tier 3 charge or the concessionary free parking period for a stay of no more than 30 minutes. For the purpose of this Notice this is known as the "Tier 1" charge.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames hereby gives notice under section 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that revised parking permit charges will come into effect on 1 April 2022.
