Foxton Way, Shincliffe) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 4/3/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on the following lengths of footpath in High Shincliffe: 1. Footpath Number 2 that extends 98 metres southwards between 5 Thropton Close to 16 Meldon Way, 2. Foxton Way an 80 metre Length that extends between rear 1-7 Beal Way / rear Foxton Way to enable telecom works to be undertaken. Alternative routes will be available to pedestrian traffic from the northern side of the closure from; 1. Easterly and southerly into Thropton Close then easterly and southerly into Meldon Way then westerly, 2. Easterly and southerly into Foxton Way to side number 9 to the southern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence on 15/3/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 3-4 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
