Temporary Traffic Management Order of Langdon Lane, Beaminster
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 28 March 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 3 April 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway surfacing works.
The effect of this Notice is as follows:
[1] To impose a temporary road closure on LANGDON LANE, BEAMINSTER, from its junction with Hollymoor Common Lane, a distance of approximately 1000 metres. On this occasion there will be no specified alternative route for diverted traffic.
[2] To impose a parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along LANGDON LANE, BEAMINSTER, from its junction with Hollymoor Common Lane, a distance of approximately 1000 metres
[3] To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting on the highway along LANGDON LANE, BEAMINSTER, from its junction with Hollymoor Common Lane, a distance of approximately 1000 metres.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. Please note that the dates are a window of opportunity and the road may not be closed for the whole duration stated above and the works are weather dependant.

Temporary Traffic Management Order of Pilsdon Lane, Pilsdon
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 31 March 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 8 April 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway surfacing works.
The effect of this Notice is as follows:
[1] To impose a temporary road closure on PILSDON LANE, PILSDON between its junction with Batts Lane and its junction with Yard Lane, a distance of approximately 1120 metres. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
[2] To impose a parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along PILSDON LANE, PILSDON between Batts Lane and Yard Lane, a distance of approximately 1120 metres.
[3] To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting on the highway along PILSDON LANE, PILSDON between Batts Lane and Yard Lane, a distance of approximately 1120 metres.
