Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(Wyre Forest District - Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2022 (Disabled Persons' Parking Place on Farfield, Kidderminster)
On 24 February 2022 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled persons' parking place on the following length and side of road in Kidderminster: -
Farfield (west side) from a point 40m north of its junction with Stewart Court for a distance of 6.6m in a northerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes. The Order will come into operation on 17 March 2022

(C2169 Hoo Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022 Proposed Order: To close that part of C2169 Hoo Road from its junction with A449 Chester Road South to its junction with U12616 Aggborough Crescent. Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A448 Comberton Road, A449 Chester Road South and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days Commencing:
4 April 2022.
(U12152 Exchange Street/U12155 Oxford Street (part), Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022
Proposed Order: to close that part of U12152 Exchange Street/U12155 Oxford Street from its junction with U12151 Corporation Street to its junction with U12154 Bridge Street.
Reason: Carriageway drain renewal by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U12151 Corporation Street, U12147 New Road, U12155 Oxford Street (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing:
2 April 2022.
(A448 Bromsgrove Road, Chaddesley Corbett & Brockencote & Redcross) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022
Proposed Order: To close that part of A448 Bromsgrove Road from its junction with U13627 Harbash Lane to its junction with C2017 The Village. Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A450 Worcester Road, A442 Droitwich Road, A442 Rushock to Cutnall Green, A442 Kidderminster Road, A38 Roman Way, A38 Rashwood Hill, A38 Worcester Road, A38 Redditch Road, A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass, A448 Stratford Road, A448 The Strand, A448 Market Street, A448 Kidderminster Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 14 nights (20:00-05:00) Commencing: 31 March 2022.
(U12241 Cathedral Avenue, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022 Order made: to close that part of U12241 Cathedral Avenue from its junction with U12207 Canterbury Road to its junction with U12236 Abbey Road. Reason: New gas connection by Cadent Gas.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U12207 Canterbury Road, U12207 Holmwood Avenue and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days Commencing:
14 March 2022.
(B4190 Habberley Road, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022 Proposed Order: to close that part of B4190 Habberley Road from its junction with B4190 Kidderminster Road for a distance of 500 metres in a north easterly direction. Reason: Surface Dressing by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4190 Kidderminster Road, A456 Kidderminster Road, A456 Bewdley Hill, A456 Bewdley Road, A442 Proud Cross Ringway, A442 Franche Road, B4190 Habberley Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 23 days Commencing: 6 April 2022.
(U12351 Pleasant Street & Footpath, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure)
Order 2022
Proposed Order: to close that part of U12351 Pleasant Street & Footpath from its junction with U12350 York Street to its junction with U12352 Broad Street. Reason: Maintenance work to retaining wall, by M.Lambe Construction Ltd. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U12350 York Street, U12349 Clensmore Street, U12352 Broad
Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days Commencing:
4 April 2022.
