Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(Footpath BY-545, Broadway) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 20 February 2020, the effect of which was to close that part of Footpath BY-545, Broadway for its entire length which was due to expire on 4 March 2022 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 4 September 2023 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State. The Order has been made because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a bund in an Environment Agency flood alleviation area which is unsafe to walk on.
Alternative route: is signed on the ground and along Footpath BY-574.
(U46421 Nafford Road, Eckington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022
Proposed Order: to close that part of U46421 Nafford Road from its junction with C2008 Hollands Road for a distance of 610 metres in a north westerly direction. Reason: Drainage clearance by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2008 Hollands Road, B4080 Tewkesbury Road, B4080 Church Street, U46421 New Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing: 4 April 2022. (U45200 Boat Lane, Offenham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022
Proposed Order: to close that part of U45200 Boat Lane from its junction with U45206 Boat Lane to its junction with U45200 Ferry Lane for a distance of 36 metres in a westerly direction. Reason: Telecoms pole inspection and maintenance by Openreach.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U45206 Boat Lane, U45204 Main Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
1 day Commencing: 6 April 2022.
(B4088 Evesham Road, Norton and Lenchwick)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2022
Order made: to close that part of B4088 Evesham
Road from its junction with A44 Twyford roundabout
to Norton Lenchwick bypass to its junction with C2295
Harvington Lane.
Reason: Carriageway Patching by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2011 Village Street, C2011 Crest
Hill, C2295 Abbotts Salford Road, Evesham Road
(Warwickshire), Station Road (Warwickshire), A46 (Highways England & Wariwickshire), A46 Evesham bypass (Highways England) and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months from 7 March 2022. Anticipated duration: 12 days.
(C2011 Atch Lench Road to Leys Road,
South Lenches) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022 Order made: to close that part of C2011 Atch Lench Road to Leys Road from its junction with B4088 Alcester Road to its junction with C2011 Low Road. Reason: New water connection by Severn Trent
Water.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2011 Low Road, C2011 Rous Lench Green to Low Road, C2011 Radford Road, C2010 Gooms Hill, C2010 Alcester Road, B4088 Alcester Road, Warwickshire and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 16 March 2022
