Proposed Order: To close that part of U50016 Back Walk from its junction with A38
Upper Tything to its junction with U50012 Hebb Street.
Reason: Water utility repairs by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Diversion 1 A38 Upper Tything, U50012 Hebb Street and vice versa. Order made: to close that part of Closure 1: A4440 Temeside Way from its junction with A4440 Powick roundabout. Closure 2: A38 Ketch roundabout to its junction with A4440 Norton Road roundabout Closure 3: A38 Worcester Road to its junction with U60000 Taylors Lane. Closure 4: A38 Ketch roundabout to C2287 St. Peters Drive. NB. U60000 Taylors Lane will facilitate a One-Way traffic system in an easterly direction to C2055 Norton Road for the duration of the works. Reason: Resurfacing and surface dressing of the Ketch roundabout and replacement of street lighting columns by WCC.

Proposed Order: to close that part of Link Footpath F50087 College Precincts in its entirety from its junction with A44 College Street to its junction with U53132 Edgar
Street.
Reason: Footpath repairs and maintenance by Kier Group.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Proposed Order: to temporarily suspend that part of the bus lane affecting the highway from that part of B4636 Newtown Road from its junction with B4638 Woodgreen Drive to its junction with U52003 Linksview Crescent, so that it can be used to facilitate normal traffic.
Reason: Construction of new development entrance by Elan Homes Ltd. The Order is being made due to the likelihood of danger to the public during works on the Southern Link Road Project.

The Proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Commencing: 2 April 2022.
