NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
- ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -St Michaels Way, Middlewich
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic. Prohibition of traffic - St Michaels Way, Middlewich

The alternative route will be via Chester Road, Bostock Road, Bostock Road Roundabout, Davenham Bypass, Peckmill Roundabout, Davenham Bypass, St Wilfrids Roundabout, Davenham Bypass, London Road, Shurlach Road, Rudheath Roundabout, King Street Dual Southbound, Morrisons Roundabout, King Street Southbound, King Street, Centurion Way, Centurion Way Roundabout, Centurion Way, Holmes Chapel Road Roundabout, Holmes Chapel Road, Kinderton Street and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 21 March
2022 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such
less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed
in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will
be completed by Thursday 31 March 2022.

ORDER 2020 - (Footpath No. 2 (Part) Parish of Ashley and Footpath No. 5 Parish of Rostherne)
Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by sub-section (5) of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved the Order effective from the 19 March 2020 being extended and continuing in force until 31 August 2022. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit all users on the following:
That length of Footpath No. 2 in the Parish of Ashley which commences at its junction with Footpath No. 3 in the Parish of Ashley at OSGR SJ 7575 8462 and runs in a generally westerly direction for a distance of approximately 100m to OSGR 7565 8464 and then runs in a generally south westerly direction for a distance of approximately 49m to its junction with Footpath No. 5 in the Parish of Rostherne at the parish boundary, at OSGR SJ 7561 8461. That length of Footpath No. 5 in the Parish of Rostherne which commences at its junction with Footpath No. 2 in the Parish of Ashley at OSGR SJ 7561 8461 and runs in a generally southerly direction for a distance of approximately 537m to its junction with Birkenheath Lane
(C115/10) at OSGR SJ 7551 8409.
The closure is necessary to protect the public from dangers posed by a footbridge that is damaged, and whilst the footbridge is repaired.
