Ar 8 Mawrth 2022 gwnaeth Cyngor Sir Ddinbych Orchymyn dan adrannau 82(2) 83(2) 84(1) ac 84 (2) a Rhan III Atodlen Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, a fydd yn dod i rym ar 14 Mawrth 2022. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn gosod terfyn cyflymder 40 milltir yr awr ar hyd y ffordd a nodwyd yn yr Atodlen Isod.

NOTICE OF PERMANENT SPEED RESTRICTION (A542 HORSESHOE PASS)
(40 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2022
On 8th March 2022 Denbighshire County Council made an Order under sections 82(2) 83(2) 84(1) and 84 (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which comes into effect on 14th March 2022. The effect of the Order will be to impose a 40 miles per hour speed limit on the length of road specified in the Schedule below.
Copies of the Order, together with plans showing the lengths of road to which the Order relates may be examined at Llangollen Library, The Chapel, 19-21 Castle Street, Llangollen. Denbighshire. LL20 8NY, during normal opening hours.
If required, an electronic copy of the order can be sent upon request by e-mailing the council's Traffic Section (

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained within it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks from 8th March 2022, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
SCHEDULE
Lengths of road near the A542 Horseshoe Pass in the County of Denbighshire 40 mph Speed Restriction
A542; from a point 3 metres south of its junction with the unnamed road on the northeastern side of the A542 which runs between the A542 and the A525 (whenmeasured along the eastern kerb line), in a southerly direction to a point 124.5metres south east of the southernmost access to the Britannia Inn Hotel (whenmeasured along the western kerb line).
Unnamed road on the western side of theA542 which stretches between the A542 and the A5014; from its junction with the A542 in a south westerly direction for a distance of 47.5 metres (when measured along the north western kerb line).
Unnamed road on the south eastern side of the A542 which extends in a south easterly direction to the east of the property named Ponderosa; from its junction with theA542 in a south easterly direction for a distance of 36 metres (whenmeasured along the south western kerb line).
