(King Street, Blackburn) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022
NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, made the above Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to close King Street from its junction with Montague Street to its junction with St Phillips Street.

The closure is necessary for the following reason: Lining removal and installation.

The Order will come into force on 7th March 2022 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 2nd May 2022.The closure will be in place between the times of 18:00 to Midnight.

The alternative route for the affected traffic will be via Montague Street, Okenhurst Road, Wensley Road and Buncer Lane vice versa.

Access for emergency vehicles, all buses and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
