DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES) 2022 WOODLAND ROAD SIDE ROADS, DARLINGTON

Darlington Borough Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close each of the following from its junction with Woodland Road for 15 metres: MAUDE STREET

A diversion route will be signed via West Crescent, the side road adjacent to 20 West Crescent and vice versa

WEST CRESCENT (Eastern junction)

A diversion route will be signed via Maude Street, the side road adjacent to 20 West Crescent and vice versa

STANHOPE ROAD NORTH

A diversion route will be signed via Vane Terrace, Trinity Road and vice versa VANE TERRACE

A diversion route will be signed via Stanhope Road North, Trinity Road and vice versa MILBANK ROAD

A diversion route will be signed via Vane Terrace,

Trinity Road, Cleveland Avenue and vice versa

Only one road will be closed at a time. The Order

is necessary to allow works to construct raised

tabletop crossings. The maximum duration of the

temporary closures under this Order is 18 months

commencing from 28th March 2022.
