ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Parking Suspension Lebanon Park, Twickenham
(Ref: 22/064)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate construction works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a parking suspension in Lebanon Park, Twickenham.
2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand in Lebanon Park, in the seven parking bays adjacent to The Ferry House and The Coach House.
3. The order will come into effect on 14 March 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 14 March 2022 until 27 June 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. Nothing in the Order will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Orders under section 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Amendment Order will be to introduce lengths of yellow lines as set out in the schedule to this Notice.
3. The general effects of the Disabled Persons; Parking Places Order will be to introduce parking bays as detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.
4. Copies of the proposed Order, plans showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order: -
(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 22/062, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices
5. Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 21 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection. Temporary Road Closure Rocks Lane, Barnes
(Reference 22/066)
1.The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate tree cutting works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Rocks Lane, Barnes.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Rocks Lane between its junction with Queen Elizabeth Walk and a point 20 metres south of that point. The order will come into effect on 13 March 2022. The restrictions will be in force at all times from between 9am and 3pm on 13 March 2022 and whilst signs/cones are in place.
3. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Church Road and Mill Hill Road.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or exit Trinty Church Passage at its junction with Trinity Church Road.
3. The order will come into effect on 16 March 2022. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 16 March 2022 until 18 March 2022 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Merthyr Terrace and Trinity Church Road.
5.The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

Temporary Parking Restricitons Various Roads in the Borough

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water pipe replacement works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in various streets.
2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle wait or stand in the roads detailed in the schedule, between the dates indicated. The restrictions will operate on a rolling basis.
3. The order will come into effect on 15 March 2022. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 15 March 2022 until 16 June 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
