ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL ROOK LANE, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works proposed to be executed on or near Rook Lane, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to introduce a One Way Traffic Flow on Rook Lane from its junction with Tong Street to its junction with Rooley Lane (one-way order - traffic allowed from Rooley Lane toward Tong Street).

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be

available via Tong Street and Rooley Lane.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 11th March 2022 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 18th March 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 3rd day of March 2022.
