ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
GALPIN'S ROAD, THORNTON HEATH
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to install new water connections, they have made an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Galpin's Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-
a) The carriageway of Galpin's Road will be closed between its junctions with Walden Gardens and London Road;
b) The south-eastern footway (odd-numbered side) of Galpin's Road will be closed to pedestrians outside No.7 Galpin's Road and between the north-eastern boundary of No. 1045 London Road and the junction with Headcorn Place;
c) Parking within the closure area will be suspended and "at any time" waiting restrictions will apply.
3. During the closure the diversion routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below. Pedestrians will be diverted to the opposite footway.
- Via Galpin's Road, South Lodge Avenue, Recreation Way, Wide Way, Stanford Way and London Road; or
- Via London Road, Stanford Road, South Lodge Avenue and Galpin's Road; or
- Via London Road, Thornton Heath Pond roundabout and London Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 07 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within nine days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

RUSSELL HILL, PURLEY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new water mains laying activities, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular parking in Russell Hill, Purley.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, all parking bays from No. 32a Russell Hill to its junction with Russell Hill Road will be temporarily suspended (carried out in three stages) to facilitate the new water mains works.
3. The Order will come into operation on 7 March, 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out by 7 May, 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
4. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

SANDERSTEAD ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate duct installation works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Sanderstead Road, South Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Sanderstead Road will be closed between its junction with East Hill and the vehicular entrance to The Red House, Belhaven, Culver House and Monymusk, Sanderstead Road.
3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Brighton Road, Godstone Road, Downs Court Road and Mitchley Avenue, as appropriately signed.
4. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
5. The Order will come into operation on 05 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The restriction will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs

SCARBROOK ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms ducting works they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in Scarbrook Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-
a) Scarbrook Road will be closed at its junction with Mann Close;
b) One-way working in Scarbrook Road will be suspended.
3. During the closure the alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Charles Street and Church Road, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 08 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within three days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

SUTHERLAND ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate cable installation works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Sutherland Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, rolling parking suspensions and temporary waiting and loading restrictions operating 'at any time' will be introduced in Sutherland Road.
3. The Order will come into operation on 07 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 04 April 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be reintroduced if further works are required.
4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) a vehicle being used to carry out the said works;
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

LYNWOOD GARDENS, CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas connection works they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Lynwood Gardens.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Lynwood Gardens will be closed between the common boundary of Nos. 34 and 36 Lynwood Gardens and the railway line.
3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be via Lynwood Gardens, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 21 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 28 March 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

POLLARDS HILL NORTH, NORBURY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate blockage clearance works in the carriageway, they propose to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic in Pollards Hill North.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Pollards Hill North will be closed between its junctions with London Road and Pollards Hill East.
3. During the closure the alternative route for traffic will be via Beech Road, Beatrice Avenue, London Road, Pollards Hill South and Pollards Hill East, as appropriately sign posted.
4. The Order will come into operation on the 22 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in three days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
6. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer;
(c) any vehicle used to carry out the said works.

NORTHBOROUGH ROAD, NORBURY
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate pole spanning works they intend to make an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Northborough Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Northborough Road will be closed between its junctions with London Road and Norton Gardens.
3. During the works the diversion route for traffic will be via London Road, Tylecroft Road and Norton Gardens, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 18 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within six days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate carriageway defect rectification works on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Thornhill Road, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Thornhill Road will be closed at its junction with St James's Road.
3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for traffic will be via Thornhill Road, Whitehorse Road and St James's Road and reversed, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 22 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed in one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, rolling parking suspensions and temporary waiting and loading restrictions operating 'at any time' will be introduced in Whitehall Road.
3. The Order will come into operation on 21 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 11 April 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be reintroduced if further works are required.
4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) a vehicle being used to carry out the said works;
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
