(The Bye, Consett) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022
The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 30 metres of The Bye, Consett to enable sewer repair works to be undertaken. No alternative route is available during the closure period. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 21/3/22 from 8am and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. Dated: 3rd March 2022
