ROYAL BOROUGH OF KINGSTON UPON THAMES
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames made the following Order The Kingston upon Thames (Prescribed Routes) (Amendment No. 38) Order 2022 on 28 February 2022 under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order, which will come into force on 7 March 2022, will be to continue in force indefinitely the provision of the following Order The Kingston upon Thames (Prescribed Routes) (Amendment No. 16) Experimental Traffic Order 2020.
3. The effect of the Order is to retain on a permanent basis in Lower Ham Road, Kingston, prohibit motor vehicles from entering the carriageway approximately 10 metres south of its junction with Bank Lane. The prohibition will not apply to pedal cycles.
4. The made Order and plan can be inspected as follows:

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 4 April 2022.
