A438, Whitecross Road, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order

Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under Its relevant powers, made the following Order: A438, Whitecross Road, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the A438, Whitecross Road, Hereford, near the junction of Vowels Close. Grid Ref: 349897/240357. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A49 onto Newtown Road, onto Holmer Road, onto Roman Road, onto Three Elms Road and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to remedial works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 13th of March 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
